If you stay at the same firm, you don’t get a bump (or your bump will be not very much, certainly not in line with MBA hires). Not worth it unless you switch firms or industries to leverage the degree.
It’s important to pay attention to what the MBA pay scale means. If you look at PwC, for example, they only hire at MBA pay scale for certain schools.
You could get an MBA from another school and NOT be on the pay scale, and I imagine many PT programs fall into that bucket.
Yep. Firms dole out MBA money for MBA talent because they are competing with other firms and roles who pay just as much. They are not paying MBA solely because the skill sets are worth it. If you’re already working for a firm, there’s no reason for them to pay you full MBA starting salary since you’re already an employee
