USI Insurance brokerage and consulting - thoughts? A recruiter reached out to me via linked in and I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on this company. They seem to have decent reviews on Glassdoor but I was hoping to get more insight into workload and comp. Thanks in advance! USI

I'm fine with being connected with people on LinkedIn. I won't be "friends" with coworkers on Facebook or other places. I used to always accept friend requests from people, so I wouldn't look rude. And seeing people you work with in the comments of some post arguing with the conspiracy theory guy you vaguely knew from high school chess club is not a good feeling.

Agreed! I left Facebook a few years ago but before I did I would only accept friend requests from coworkers that I socialized with outside of work.
That depends on you. I have unfollowed my first in line leader and possibly their boss while I was working for them. Depending on how they were as a boss, they would either stay unfollowed or I’d follow them back once I no longer report it to them. On regular social media it’s really rare that I connect while I’m working with them. After leaving the company, I have no problem.

And now he's retiring so I can forget about him forever!
Never done it or seen a reason to. I don't add anyone, but I have no problem accepting if they make the first move. I'm nuking most of them as soon as I leave though.

Yep. My spouse is two years out from retirement and just deleted their entire LinkedIn account. No need.
