Hi all,
I’m looking to relocate to Seattle. Does anyone know if any of the Big 4 are still recruiting campus hires to start in Summer/Fall 2023? I’m open to either Audit or Tax, but I have internship experience in Tax.
I applied and received an offer at a Big 4 in San Francisco (campus hire), but I’ve decided Seattle is the better fit for me as it will be closer to my hometown and family in Vancouver.
Thanks!

PwC A recruiter from PWC reached out to me to ask if I’d consider a different office the one I applied to, since it’s full. It would be Boston, Hartford, Chicago, Minneapolis, Little Rock, Denver, San Francisco or San Jose. MSA candidate. Is there a fully remote option? Do you have to be in the office all the time? Is the compensation high at PWC? Is there a possible moving expenses? Any insight or advice would help me make a decision. Thank you!

It's like chicago. There's only two seasons, winter and construction
It's not summer...
Is that why I'm sitting on my thumbs in Florida?
You want them to do it in the winter when there's snow everywhere? I'll pass your suggestion on...
OW1, I expect more from you. There are more seasons than just summer and winter, and a couple of which rarely have snow.
P1, it's a pretty good assumption that's the reason, assuming equipment is on the ground and it isn't maintenance, it's likely the construction in BOS.
For someone assuming I want construction in the depths of winter, you're being awfully pedantic
Also, go away. No one asked you.
You're not being very specific about what your complaint is other than it is causing you delays. Why is now a particularly bad time to do it? What is your recommended alternative and why is that better? Just saying not to do it during "summer" (in quotes because it's still spring) is not insightful.
Depending on what kind of runway or taxiway surface they're using, it may not be possible or efficient to do the work during seasons where freezing temps are reasonably possible. This is one reason why you don't see much if any asphalt road paving in winter up north. Boston is far enough north to limit those months to roughly May-September. I believe concrete can be done in cooler months but suspect it may take longer to set which could prolong closures.
^ and all of the runways at BOS are asphalt

The most significant North American airports impacted by this are BOS, YUL, YYZ, DTW, BUF, CLE, ORD, MKE, MDW, MSP, and ANC. DEN and SLC can be as well but generally have longer warm periods and you can argue that NYC airports could be listed. Obviously tons of smaller airports are impacted as well, but this group will impact the most folks, though with modern planes ANC is more of a cargo hub than an Asia refueling location nowadays. I recall DTW's west-east runways were quite rough last I was there but hopefully they've worked on them recently.
