Hello Guys,
I joined Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?
As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

I'm looking to find a job like the Forward Deployed Engineer role Palantir Technologies in the UK.
I have become hooked on finding a job that involves solving the kinds of problems they presented during their interviews. Although I got to the final round my performance anxiety got the better of me (I think I wanted the job a bit too much...). I will reapply after working in a similar company.
Is it "deep tech" / "data science" or "smart enterprise" that they're doing? Any advice welcome.

This is my worst nightmare
You are an idiot
Honestly, you should have cleared with your boss before applying to an internal role...
@A1, I disagree. The boss could be vindictive and block the move. It's best not to say anything.
^ that! Use this to your leverage! Tell him the truth and why you want to progress! A good boss will always understand the value of progression
@k1 what's a non retaliation policy going to do? Non retaliation usually refers only to whistle blowing in my understanding. Plus, it's generally accepted that the only hard and fast policy at booz Allen is 'don't be late with your timesheet'
No. It's an internal position. The hiring manager emailed him asking about my availability
By boss do you mean your project boss or your counselor? I think your counselor should know and should be supportive of a move, they are there to help you in your career. Project boss... I don't see why they would need to know.
Take some comfort knowing that the boss can't do anything vindictive, either explicitly or in more subtle ways, regardless of your decision. I assume Booz Allen has a non-retaliation policy.
You'll be fine
Hey what happened on the one on one
Did he see your calendar?
Let us know how it goes! If he fires you for it = dick move
At K, in theory, retaliation is defined as well beyond protection from getting fired. For example, if said boss were to stop assigning meaningful work to OP, or invite everyone on the team but OP to lunch. Again, I'm assuming a reputable firm like Booz has something similar?
We're both conjecturing here. OP should just read up firm policy to settle this.
You're definitely allowed to look into internal positions at BAH without notifying your current manager (although of course not preferable). If going through RM, there is an option to select that so they won't contact your CM. If going on your own, you should have mentioned to the prospective hiring manager that you were looking discreetly. But that ship has sailed, so just be straightforward with your CM about wanting a new position.
😱
Who is your "boss"?
My bad @op 😶
Yikes!
