Can anyone at Guidehouse provide some insight if there is a sudden hiring freeze? I had my final round of interviews 3 weeks ago and thought they went great. The partner seemed excited with my responses and the peer level interviewer told me they were excited that I applied. Since the interview, the recruiter ghosted me. I sent 2 follow ups that have gone unanswered. This seems like a disorganized company and I likely dodged a bullet but I am genuinely curious to what is going over there ?

Took 2 months for me lol

funny

Disorganized is an understatement. Not sure about hiring freeze but have heard hiring can take over a month. *If* you are still interested I would email the HR person and the Partner one last time.

Same happened with me. I was ghosted by recruiter and partner after I was told they wanted to move forward.

There are plenty of roles online. i applied wit a referral and still didn’t get a chance to talk to a recruiter while meeting the consulting experience requirement. They may be ghost positions tbh.

My hiring timeline was 7 months and 8 interviews with long gaps in comms from the recruiter. If you still want to come over, just wait it out.

@KPMG, this sounds like my experience, although after almost 3 weeks after the final interview with the partner, I did get an actual response from the recruiter with the rejection. I did have someone tell me they had a lot of people on the bench, so sounds like they could be filling roles internally.

So I’m in industry from big 4, and a colleague with same yoe comes from MBB. High paying tech firm. I think I work harder and produce quality content at speed, but they can hold executive conversations that tend to impress senior stakeholders.

Big 4 produces work horses and MBB produces leaders. Also they could be a work horse too since I don’t have full visibility.

Anyone have similar experiences or do I just suck at executive stakeholder management?
