Thanks to being a police officer, my family has stability nowadays, but in the beginning, it was difficult because the money was not enough. Now I can afford a little more, but the salaries should improve because the new policeman can not easily raise a family with this inflation.

I got an offer of 20 lpa from Nagarro.

Later i received one more from another company with 24 lpa as fixed and 50k joining bonus.

I recently discussed with my Nagarro hr to increase my salary because I like to join Nagarro.

They came up with 22 lpa..but I told them that I need 24lpa.

Will I get 24lpa from Nagarro or am I risking it ?

Joined Blind over a month ago, and what an eye opener it has been. Tech salaries are insane. Even with the recent tech pull back and layoffs, some of the comps are on a whole another level. Friends in tech say, most layoffs have involved non-engineers (sales,HR, Ops,mrktng etc). Dudes in their late 20s pulling in 350k+. Unreal.

And then I look at my TC/bonus and a sense of disappointment washes over me. Short of becoming a partner, I don't think I can pull these numbers that tech bros post up.

I have an offer from EY. They rejected my counter offer for a higher salary but accepted my counteroffer for a higher sign on bonus. They gave me a few more days to think about the new offer. I want to know how likely would they be willing to renegotiate if I tell them I still want something closer to my original counter offer.

Took a Controller position a year ago at a PE-acquired Manufacturing Company after 7 years of PA. No support staff. Making $76k. 2021's merit increase offering was $2k. The YE Bonus ended up as $1,200(Insulting, especially for accomplishments achieved this past year alone).

Looking at this W4 to adjust my withholding DOWN since my wife and I always get more back on our tax return than we want and would rather have the money now.
