For my pcos ladies on metformin, interesting news article. Be careful out there. The good news I hear is that metformin leaves the body pretty quickly so in 2 days you won't have it in you anymore. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.forbes.com/sites/victoriaforster/2020/04/05/researchers-warn-that-covid-19-treatment-t

Additional Posts in Compensation, Salary and Bonus
Hi all. I am trying to determine if I am being compensated fairly. I am a tax manager (about to start my second year as manager) and have been with EY since staff 1. I was promoted to manager in June 2020 (during covid) and received a 7.5% raise. The class above me has mentioned they received much higher raises during their promotion years. My base salary is now approx. 97K. Any insights would be extremely helpful. Thanks!

OFC there is a grid there as well.. you can not make more than a partner which has "skin in the game".
@ PwC 2, but you don't have shares to earn for..
What is the cap?
Some B4 MD's definitely make more than some partners. Especially in highly technical, hard to find roles (national tax), and highly profitable practice groups.
Wouldn’t the partner pay depend on buying in?
The buy-in isn't that significant considering the expected partner tenure (20-40% of annual comp). Its paid over 5-10 years too, usually, unless the partner elects to pay it all in up front.
They buy in only provides 20-40% of annual comp?
Firm dependent... Mid sized firm here/MCOL, our SM cap is something like $190, I imagine director is + another $20-40k. For us no SM would make more than a first year partner, but a top MD might, at least before bonus. After first year or so, no way the MD makes more than even a first year partner.
