Can you get into a top tier MBA program from an untraditional background? Context for me, I’m 24, working at a non-profit engineering firm. I’m still trying to gain more experience before applying, but I’m concerned this job won’t look good for MBA schools.

How would you rank in order of prestige/ease of getting in: UCLA, Cornell, and NYU ??

Looking to transition to MBB if that matters.

Currently stuck in risk but interested in Cyber. Have done one related engagement from a regulatory perspective. But a lot of posts here making me think it’s harder to break into than I expected (non-technical background). If you had a six sigma green belt / supply chain degree/exp., would you still go through the effort of going into Cyber or take easy risk money being offered / easier transition back to supply chain? 2-3 YOE and trying to decide career course, any advice highly appreciated

How hard is Haas to get into?

Looking for feedback on two opportunities and which opportunity would be better for my application for a M7 school in 2 years. 1) Stay at T2 consulting firm (already 2 YOE) and continue towards firm sponsorship 2) Take a substantial pay increase, go to a family office, and own more E2E work with direct contact with family (w/ no MBA sponsorship). Is it harder to get into business school than business school itself?

Taking my GMAT in 7 weeks. Just finished the large Kaplan book and have done 2 practice tests so far. What should I do next? Worth investing in a GMAT tutor? Getting 600 on practice tests but want a 690~.

I regret not applying to Harvard. I never thought I’d get into a top school and then got into wharton with a 100k fellowship - which changed my entire perspective. It sucks thinking “what if…”.
