Career options and exit strategy for a consultant with tech background and MBA?

I’m looking to transition from my current sales role (purely operational) to a more creative/strategic role that involves public speaking/facilitation. Have some experience in sales development (mainly business development & strategic advice to C-level), branding/marketing, facilitation (as a side-job) and working with content creators.

I’m new to this space so not sure about what kind of roles there are?

It’s feeling impossible to find a long lasting mentor-mentee relationship, especially when agencies are understaffed, timelines are ridiculously short and the best in the biz jump ship every two-ish years…

Does anyone have tips on how to become a better writer when you don’t have consistent senior writers around to share your with with?

10 years sales experience selling eyewear to eye doctors. If I were to transition to tech would I have to start as a BDM? I think that would be a pay cut for me. Thanks
