How bad does it look if I've had 3 jobs in the past 3 years? Job hopper or ambitious professional?

I got a promotion a year and 3 months ago, and got a pay raise 5 months ago. Could I still ask for a promotion to SAE if I have been supporting a team more as one? Promotions are hard to stab with.
