Hopper unless you have a really good reason 😬 they’ll most definitely bring it up in the interview but I tend to shy away from folks who have had multiple hops in such a short period.
I don't judge it as harshly without at least looking into it a little first. We have such a culture of company hopping these days.
Hop, hop, hopper. I wouldn't trust that you'd stay at my company tbh. I would try to rewrite my resume so it doesn't show that you haven't had longevity
Depends if those have been lateral moves or vertical moves.
Imo it depends on how you tell your story, what sector you worked in (start up vs. enterprise), and the attitude of the person interviewing you. I wouldn’t write someone off for this but in general I’d expect them to have a compelling reason for each job change. Also, pro tip- drop the months from your resume and list calendar years only. This obscures exactly how long you were in each role.
Hopper. I'd prefer not to hire you unless you had some great skills for a short term project.
Right as a contractor or consultant
Think it all comes down to the story telling, my friend. If you feel like you were job hopping, that's going to show
Listen in 2019 I have nine jobs.....so you are totally fine lol
Do the hops show growth? If so, they might not look as bad,
This is a good point, if you're going from Associate to Director that's worth mentioning
If you go from engineer at company A to engineer at company B and engineer at Company C, 3x in 3 years, that’s a red flag. If you go from engineer to sr. Engineer to manager, engineering, and you tell your story correctly, this is very good. It’s only hopping if you’re not progressing. It’s not hopping if you’re growing.
As long as you can answer the question about why you had so many jobs in such a short period of time without sounding like a flake, it's honestly much less of an issue than it was 10 years ago.
