My supervisor gave me 8hours of AWOL because I couldn't show up one day because I was under anxiety. I have gave him letters from psychiatrist,psychologist that I'm passing through this. People who don’t submit their time daily, how do you remember what you did and for how long? I’ve always just submitted each timer as soon as I finish a task—“call with x re y” really doesn’t take that long even if I’m busy, and if I don’t do it immediately I’ll forget all those little I did in the morning by the time I go to bed. No shade at all to those with different systems, just genuinely curious because I see a lot about catching up at month end on here and I have no idea how that works??

Facebook Ads after iOS 14 changes.

I'll share my experience and urge you to share yours:

Since iOS 14 changes, Facebook ads isn't the same anymore. Why?

A. >75% iOS users denied tracking. They are no longer tracked across websites/apps. Facebook lost its edge.
B. Targeting and conversion tracking aren't as effective anymore.
C. Many advertisers have been migrating their budgets from Facebook to Apple and Amazon ads.

Curious what’s a fair salary in MA? Was just told that there is likely not going to be a chance for a raise during my upcoming performance review due to my salary already being “above average for the industry” based on my employer’s questionable research. I’ve been with the company 8.5 years & am the only one in my role, which they can’t operate without. I execute tasks from two investment advisors and two financial planners - they make the decisions of what should happen & I make it happen.

I’m in asset management sales and keen to accelerate my learning in alternatives (private equity, private debt, real assets, liquid and semi-liquid alternatives) so I can have more productive discussions with clients. 1) What are some good news platforms to stay updated on alternatives space in Asia? 2) Besides CAIA, any educational platforms to learn more about alternatives?

Due to obvious conditions my comp for the calendar year (salary+bonus) is back to 2017 levels although my overall sales are more than double and 1/3 less total comp than last year. It seems like comp opportunity is always decreasing during good times (I get it) but when it comes to adjusting during bad times, nothing was done. Is this normal for industry sales?

I work in quant and rely on our company’s database for everydays task, but couldn’t get any support from the company’s tech/data team. It’s been such a struggle. Everyday im fighting with red tapes and firewalls. :(

CAIA or CMT?

I do institutional sales for an asset manager. Am graduating in the fall with an MBA from a top 40 school. Would like a designation but dont want to do the CFA.  Between the CAIA and CMT: which one is more applicable to asset management, and better status/recognition? appreciate any insight

Currently interviewing at JPMorgan in their CIB division for a associate operations role. Have met with 5 people for two different teams and another person for another team, all of which I believe are 3 total open positions for 3 different teams. Any insight on the interview process or how long it takes or any sort of idea to give me on what I could look for that might help me believe I might get an offer?
