Hello! Question for anyone that works at Google if I have hit my 3 applications per 90 days can I still apply to an additional role through a referral link? Or will I have to wait until the 90 days is up? Actually asking for a friend that doesn’t have this app 😊 thanks in advance for any insight.

Larsen & Toubro Infotech Is it good time to join Cognizant now for Coimbatore location considering too much attrition in recent times along with many policy changes and do they have enough projects or will there be any chance of layoffs if we don't find any projects for our skill(Tableau in my case)? I have another offer with LTI, Coimbatore for same salary but i prefer CTS more than LNT. Cognizant Larsen & Toubro Infotech

What will the project dynamics be on a project staffed with 3mdps, a PL, and myself, a summer UG intern? Just got staffed and will be hearing more on Monday from the team, but it came across as an interesting staffing composition.
Have the feeling I'll be making quite a few slides as the only junior. Anyone staffed on a similar case composition?

BCG hands down.
At the Consultant level BCG means bigger brand name, better platform, wider range of projects, and stronger exits.
Other way to think about is if you take BCG you likely still can pivot to Alix/other firms later but the other way around might be tougher.
I’d say there would be two reasons for going to AlixPartners over MBB,
1. The pay is higher (10-15% higher) and it is almost guaranteed as long as you perform higher than the bottom 5%.
2. If you want to do consulting long term it is much easier to stay at Alix and progress than the up or out at MBB… and you’ll be paid more.
Also - it’s worth noting that because of the turnaround and restructuring work, the performance improvement (cost reduction) group at Alix is best-in-class.
At Alix there is not really top line revenue growth work. You will be on engagements much longer (less exposure to different problems) and the network is much smaller outside of the company, and to BCG 1’s point above there are a lot of ex-MBB at Alix.
AlixPartners does pay more across each level
I guess it comes down to what you want to do. AlixPartners is known for its restructuring and turnaround business, and if that's not what you want to do, there might not be other large enough opps within AP. It's also a relatively top heavy model which means it'll be all hands on deck.
BCG is a much bigger brand name and has a variety of different practices to pursue based on your interest.
Depending on where you are in your career and your goals, would say BCG.
Brand, network, and work there likely to open a ton of doors that Alix wouldn’t.
To update - chose BCG!
Wishing you the best!!! Cheers 🍻
What type of work do you want to do long term? If that’s restructuring, choose Alix. If that’s something else, see if BCG Philly does that type of work.

7. But going the MBA route
I had offers from both and I haven't regretted taking BCG at any point
