Hi Fishes,
Anyone here at Luxoft with permanent remote ? I got an offer. Will they ask to come to office at any point ? What about job security at Luxoft ? HR mentioned 8 hours per day and no need to enter timesheet, time will be auto captured. That means like we can't be away from the system at all ? Please help.
Thanks

Uhhhhh I would avoid Citi at all costs
If your offer doesn’t get rescinded just remember the key is to block our your Outlook so people can’t schedule calls and meetings with you :-p that’s how I maintain my WLB at Citi
Citi is cutting ppl left and right. My father in law was there for 30 years and they let him go last week. It's bad!!
Director
Having worked at both these "illustrious" institutions, I would say they are equally good or bad, depending on their point of view. Lots of it depends on the team you land in. Both offer lots of opportunities, but at the same time both are pretty cut-throat and you can run yourself into the ground, if you are not careful. Very difficult to be non-political in either of these places. You have to be "strategic" just to survive.
What’s the role for JP Morgan and experience level ?
Ive worked at both; seems that JPM has more structure, clearly defined standards and pre-existing processes (which can be both good and bad depending on your role). Citi has a much more “new” feeling, meaning with all the transformation going on you have a lot more freedom to innovate and change things up. This also means there is potential for quicker growth if you can network well and make your work well known. Pay wise I went from JPM to Citi and received about a 35% increase in base. I’m sure if it was the other way around I would have received the same, so “bank-hopping” is a must to get those large bumps in comp.
Jp pay superior. Citi better work life balance. Both have similar growth
Citi2 - I am also at Citi. I moved there from JPM
I worked at JP Morgan ummm I thought the WLB was excellent , environment was ok I wasn’t wowed , career growth seems what you make of it
I was in wealth management operations
I worked for Citi Mortgage in 2009. Citi Bank was also on the campus. One day they called people into a room 20 at a time to tell them they were no longer needed immediately. They fired a couple hundred people that day. That was the Citi Bank part.
I remember that, I was part of that layoff. I clocked in at 8am and and was back home by 10 with all my belongings!

Anyone hear any lay offs on this department !!? Or is this position at high risk to get laid off?
