More frequent service. The on time/late performance would be more tolerable if the next bus was every 15 minutes instead of 30. However I fully understand to achieve that metric that’s a significant funding effort in maintenance, staffing and vehicles.

I’m going to avoid getting on my soapbox because as a Charlotte native I’m very passionate about the lack of appropriate city/county growth planning.
I would love a light rail that goes to where a majority of commuters live. I would ride the light rail all the time if it went to north Charlotte/LKN area, Belmont/Gastonia, Matthews, etc. The problem is instead of investing into smart, quick commuter transit they did dumb stuff like the trolley (not talking about the Gold Line). I don’t think bike accessibility would change my car habits with kids and where we live, but I’m 100% a supporter of making more roads bike friendly.
