Completed my M.Sc. in Statistics in 2023. Took time to prepare for government exams while working part-time as a construction supervisor. Now I want to build a career in IT/data, but after this gap I’m struggling to rebuild technical skills, recall concepts, and get interview calls. I’m trying to relearn Python and analytics tools but feel unsure where to start. Any advice on how to restart and become job-ready again would mean a lot.

I have an interview coming up with Church & Dwight. When the recruiter emailed me with 3 interview times I thought he was asking me what time works best. Turns out he was telling me I was scheduled for 3 different interviews for 3 different teams in one day. Has anyone heard of a company doing that or gone through this for an interview? I received an offer of 120k base (TC 140k) with JPMorgan (NJ Office) as a senior IT Audit associate and I've interviewed with Microsoft and awaiting feedback for IT Audit Manager role (remote). I wanted to know what the compensation breakdown (base, stocks, bonus etc) for the Microsoft role will look like. Also, is it worth waiting for a response before signing JPM, as I've stalled for a bit? I have 6+ YOE. Thoughts please.

Did a first interview with hr rep, went very well. she set up the hiring manager meeting for a few days later. Met with the manager. Another great conversation, went over time and was told I’d hear back about panel set up. Following day I get a request from hr rep to “continue the conversation” with manager. This is set up Tuesday.
Why do you think the manager wants to meet again? Good? Bad? I felt great about the interview when we ended.

Initially interview was for I grade in fund accounting. After documentation hr said they r hiring me for h grade I get ready for that too with offer of 12 lakh.
