That's like $350 net a month. Worth leaving the firm for?
They offer 10 days less of pto? That 350 a month will be gone when u have to buy ur own lunch haha
Not for 8k. Don't move for anything less than 20k bump. Never... At least in consulting.
Have you ever taken all of your PTO anyway? I always have extra. Not sure about deloitte's policy, but the 15 days does not include any sick (unlimited) or personal (3). Is that what it is with Deloitte?
EY doesn't really track PTO for what it's worth
Yeah if you're taking the promotion bump too, should be bigger since you're forgoing the 5k promo bonus EY gives to staff --> senior promotes
Also not exactly sure how GSAP works for Advisory but if you could potentially qualify for it that's a huge factor to consider since EY doesn't have an equivalent reimbursement policy
Seriously. For $8K? Won't judge, but......
If staff out of college at EY make senior in 2 years, how is this a fast track?
.
Does EY have a consulting group and an advisory group like Deloitte?
Just one, Advisory. Under advisory, we have Risk and Performance Improvement. PI is what you would consider "typical consulting". And then from there subgroups like customer / strategy, finance, supply chain, etc.
Staff to senior progression gets a bonus payout? Ha, didn't even think that was a promotion just normal progression here unbelievable
Pretty small bump to pull out the swap here, remember you cant do this every other year so make it count! Agree with EY3, 20k is a good ballpark.
ACN would throw money at you, don't sell urself short.
What's the salary cap for EY advisory Sr consultants?
I'm also considering the fact that I'd be promoted nearly 2 years ahead of schedule, putting my career advancement on a fast track
I hear it's 125k
Should I call her back and demand 20k ? Haha.
Agree with EY1 if you've been working for a year already, you will maybe skip one staff year if you're brought in as a Snr. That being said 8k would not be enough for me to even think about it, especially since you'd be moving to the next level. $20k mentioned above seems reasonable, which is especially true as you're further into your career. Later one you then need to factor in what your internal network is worth since you'd have to build a whole new one at another firm if you switch.
