Considering volunteering to lead some internal training sessions. Good way to build my profile at the firm, or just extra unpaid work?

Anyone have any experience with Opportune LLP(energy consulting firm)? I’m considering the pros and cons of potentially making the move from B4 audit associate to a Senior Consultant position.

I just recently joined a company (a month in) and I’m realizing that I may not be a good fit. Should I, at least, give it a chance or start looking for a new role?

I’ve been thinking about this for awhile now, but it is very to commit to actually accept a new job offer since I really do love my job. My only complaint is, the pay vs workload is very small. I’m a manager now and my property offered me a director position… but the salary is still low! To make six figures, it’ll take another 5-6 years to grind it out.

Should I move on and go to a different industry? Opinions are welcome! Thanks in advance.

Hey all ... i do PI litigation but i have a passion to help businesses with acquistions, business transactions (specific to dental and medical acquistions and sales), real estate transactions/estate planning. I know there are real estate transaction firms, estate firms, and corporate transaction firms...but i guess from being in the PI world so long (only 4 years) i do not even know what type of firms could possible encompass most or all types of the areas i want to be.
