I agree with the previous comments. Not sure when your interview was but I usually add another week because of the holiday. At least 2 to 3 weeks is an appropriate time to follow up to check on the status.
From my experience, It honestly all depends on the HR (if they're internal or 3rd party).
If they're still interviewing other candidates, I'd say maybe 2-3 weeks to hear back about the decision.

It never hurts to reach out after a week or 2 and it won't show as pushy (speaking from experience), but if they said they'll reach out, then I'm sure they will after completing the interviews.

In my experience, Pfizer was really great about reaching out in a timely manner during my interviews. I think it took 2 weeks after my final interview for a decision.
I see absolutely no harm (and actually a positive impression that you follow up and want the role) in sending a note 1-2 weeks later to reiterate your interest and check in.
