I have been working as Travel Nurse and I have been extending my contract working locally because it’s close to home but I am ready to go. The toxic environment is really affecting me. Being around negative people has me not loving my job. Every morning I wake up debating if I should call off and stay home. Is there any one else feeling this way? Especially a contract/agency worker

I think I am slipping into depression. My life seems to have no meaning and all I do is work. I don't get time for myself or my family, friends and loved ones. But I can't leave my job and take a break as I need the financial support.

I also feel I am earning way less than my peers which makes me feel like a loser. 4.5 years of work-ex and 16LPA.

It’s hard to be motivated when rounds of layoffs happen and you see all your friends leave. But one thing that’s gotten me through all of this is working out. And when I say workout I mean the most pathetic, sad, barely completed beginner-level cardio dance routines. I’ve somehow forced myself to move while on lockdown and it’s somehow forced me to feel better.
