Live in round rock only 20 min to downtown on the tollway. Good mix of being near Austin food and events but not dealing with homeless folks, which is why i moved out of downtown. Fully remote but have an office downtown if i need to get away. Got a brand new build and large house , all the Austin downtown houses are super old remodels or a tiny luxury apartment
Used to commute from Georgetown to South Austin pre-pandemic. Now fully remote and loving it.

I’m fully remote living in Round Rock. I couldn’t imagine having to spend hours commuting into the city everyday. My husband does it and I swear it’s taking years off of his life with how long and stressful the commute is
Lakeway - food out here sucks so we drive in for food more than we do for work 😂
Absolutely breathtaking! The drive down 620 into Bee Caves is an experience by itself. I graduated from St. Stephen’s off of 360. I love it out there, just can’t afford it. Maybe one day. Definitely a goal.
Fully remote living on the east side
My office is in North Austin but I actually live in Central lol. Would occasionally go to office if there are events
Living in Leander and fully remote
Suburbs. Only in for events. Used to drive in every day and can’t believe how much time I used to have to waste for a worse working environment.
Only about 25 min with no traffic, but usually more like 45 min to an hour during commuting times. Pretty rough.
Fully remote living downtown near ATX Cocina
Nice.
About to start commuting in to north Austin from cedar park after being remote for 3 years. Moved to the burbs last year after 17 years in Austin. I like it here!
