Curious if anyone here who typically wears 40mm+ watches has gone with a 36mm DayDate. I’m torn between the 36 and 40 and would love to hear your thoughts.

Wrist size? You generally need to be 6.5” or larger first the 40mm to look good.

I’m ready for the throwing of fruit. You’ll find the internet divided on this question, but it’s waterproof and has a bracelet.

The reverso is technically a sports watch too, but much closer to a dress watch because polo is a dressy sport

Nope, won’t go below 39mm. Anything below that looks awkward on my wrist.

I’m 6-1 and a 36 looks like a woman’s watch on my arm and hence I have a 41mm Datejust.

36 look a bit small on my wrist, but depending on the watch it's ok. A sport watch with a metal bracelet, nope, but a dress watch on leather is good. It also depends on the profile of the lugs.

I worked FT as a paralegal and went to law school in the evening. I recently interviewed at a small ID firm in employment law with about 9 attorneys. They asked for a writing sample. I dont have anything recent but provided what I had from last yr in a legal writing class, it was not enough for them. I became licensed this May so I dont have an array of motions to pick from. Then they asked for my undergrad transcript, at this point, I am now annoyed They are not Biglaw. Are they going overboard

Anyone looking to buy a Rolex Datejust 126334 fluted bezel, Azzuro Blue on Jubilee? Few weeks old, almost like new. Thinking about selling it for $11k (less than what I paid with taxes) since I don’t like flippers in our hobby.

Super beautiful watch, just thinking it’s a bit flashy for me.
