Currently a senior accountant at a public company. I am also currently taking my master’s and got an internship offer at a big accounting firm. Not big 4. Should I take the offer? What should I expect in terms of career growth and trajectory? Also in terms of salary, how much should I expect if I get hired full time after the internship.

As someone with accounting experience already , you should be getting a ft offer from the cpa firm as a staff acct. Usually they start at 75k. I think it is weird they are only offering an internship, which is temp work.

How did you ramp up into doing actual data science work at your clients?

I am early in my career (3 YOE), but I have a masters degree, cloud data science certs, and strong Tableau/Alteryx experience. However, it seems like a lack of experience doing actual data science client work is what keeps blocking me from landing on data science projects. Any tips?

Hi All,
I have been working as mainframe developer for around 8 years. From last year, working on requirement analysis and team management activities. I want to move into java full stack developer profile as I am not interested in management work. I know that being 8+ YOE guy and considering my tech background, it would be difficult to transition, but I am really depressed with my work profile. Please advise how should I transition my career path to a java full stack developer.

I was approached on LinkedIn for an early career recruiting role in DFW, TX. I don't have direct experience, but I have the university experience/connections from working in career services. This is the first time I've considered work outside of higher education. I said my salary expectations are minimum $90k and that didn't seem to be an issue. Am I asking too little, too much? How can I know I'm getting the best salary and not just settling at the low end of the range?
