Salary credit timings? Icici bank
Hello All, I have offer in hand of 27.5 LPA+15% variable from ZS Associates as a BT Solutions delivery consultant and now my current company is ready to retain me by matching the offer & assuring that they will send me onsite to UK in couple of months. Now I am in a dilemma of what to do as I have been looking for onsite opportunities for my entire career so far. Kindly share your thoughts. Tech stack- ETL, abinitio, aws YoE 9 years CCTC 18.2+10% variable Capgemini
Hi Fellow fishes, I had an hr discussion with amdocs and during salary negotiation they told we can't give more than 11 lpa, they told it's the last offer and didn't negotiate at all. My current CTC is 7 lpa and YOE: 3 years. How can I renegotiate with them. Will they not process my offer letter if I ask them to reconsider? P.S. : I really want to join amdocs. Amdocs

Go to banking and wait on a better corp dev offer if that’s still what you want to do
Sounds like you have your answer
Corp dev offer seems ok but what is the annual bonus? If less than 20% id say no. Change to banking quick. The only other option I could see is waiting until you could join Corp Dev at a more senior level.
Yeah makes sense. Keep checking those senior CD roles that’s exactly what I would be doing too, and jump to IB if you think that’s the move - trust your gut
Any reason why Corp Dev paying the same as senior accountant?
Hey - i made a pretty similar move and was going back and forth between these two career routes as well. I definitely see both sides of the argument, but here was my rationale for why i chose the CD path rather than banking:
Corp Dev is one of the most common exits for bankers, yes the pay is lower but the hours (most of the time) are also substantially lower. For me, I knew what industry I wanted to be in and i knew i wanted to be at an acquisitive firm, so i had a hard time convincing myself to do a 1-2 year banking stint only to exit into the exact (or similar) role that I already have an offer for. It was basically like I was skipping a step in the process which i found to be very nice. One thing i’d be cautious about when it comes to banking is the hours, being on the sell side is totally different than being the ones making the decisions. You can’t really steer any of the deadlines and when you’re on the buy side you look at everything from a different lens. In any transaction oriented environment there’s obviously going to be late nights and tight deadlines, but if you’re joining a F500 CD team they likely have a good process in place which really minimizes those late nights.
Those are my thoughts - happy to discuss more if you’d like.
Definitely true. I’m really trying to figure out whether the hours are something I’m capable of at this point. Part of why I’m considering it is I have a short timeframe left of not having any legitimate responsibilities. In another few years IB would totally be off the table. Really do have to think heavily about it though.
Feels a little low for a corp dev role. What title? I feel like a corp dev manager should be closer to TC of $180-$210
You’ll make more at A&M doing FDD
I think that’s right at Big 4, more value add at smaller firms.
