Hi! Excited we have a space finally :)
I’m in between projects. I have been for a while now. So if anyone is looking for a freelance copy and u/x writer, put me in coach! I’m available to work.
Check out my portfolio and let me know if we’re a good profit match.

TC1: it's a start up but they're already making profit and have a headcount of over 150. So it's not a small start up by any means.
40% pay bump, go for it. Even if it folds just join Big 4 again back as manager
OP gotcha. If it makes you feel any better my best friends wife is in her 4th yeah and you won't see her much anyway based on what I know about her schedule so same city vs dif city isn't TOO big of a deal until residency
Do u have an MBA? Did they reach out to you on LinkedIn ? Don't understand why I never get these type of offers....
If you can take the risk, you must! Sounds like a good opportunity
Level?
Currently SC at D and being offered Manager position.
Will also probably have to move since position is in a different city. Or will have to do a flex work thing. Not sure if leaving Deloitte and going to a smaller firm makes sense
Another personal factor is- I'll probably have to move to a different city, away from SO. I can travel back every weekend, but the new firm has agreed to a flex work schedule (details not confirmed but something like fri-Sun home or one week office one week home)
Are we interviewing at the same place haha? Gov tech startup?
Why can't SO move too?
No just stay with Deloitte. You belong here
TA1: SO is in med school for 2 more years
P2: I don't think so. Not a govt tech startup
TA1: I know. I'm traveling around almost every week anyway right now. So if I'm able to fly back every weekend it shouldn't be a big deal. And SO is totally supportive. I guess I just need to evaluate if it's a good opportunity. It sounds pretty good
SC1: yes and yes.
Ru in S&O?
OP - ah gotcha. The one I'm interviewing for is around the same size and for their consulting team. Sounds like a good offer I say take it
