Anyone from EY willing to refer me? Thanks!
As I cranked up my favorite song of all time this morning, Bob Seger’s ‘Turn the Page’, I realized that while he wrote it about life on the road for musicians, it can easily be adapted to Consultants. So cheers to all of you out there on the stage, taking every ounce of energy and trying to give it all away - you are killing it rockstars! https://youtu.be/3khH9ih2XJg

Those are very different roles, so I guess my question is what you’re maximizing for.
Wlb? Tech
Money? MM IB (accounting for likelihood of failure in unicorn)
Interesting work? Depends on what you find interesting, but likely tech
I left Big4 for FAANG, I’m in PM(cybersecurity), but still can try to help with insights.
Comp is way better, WLB is way better, and I feel more challenged in a healthy way if that makes sense. At Deloitte, I never got the satisfaction of being able to really work with the SMEs because they’re all internal. I enjoy feeling like I’m constantly learning to a different degree at Apple.
Just my personal opinion, I’m sure there are others that feel differently.
