Hopefully you pulled an employment verification letter from the system on your last day. Technically if you're on salary continuance, your employment has not yet been terminated per the separation memo. You are also receiving your regular salary and can access your pay stubs from the alumni Tod site so you are still in valid status, don't listen to the firm lawyers they take a conservative position because they are acting in D's best interests, not yours. The 60 day grace period should start when continuance ends so you have enough time to look for a job or make plans to leave. Stay positive!
Not entirely true. Had a conversation with the Ogletree lawyer.
Need to connect with someone who has seen their Employment Verification letter.
Can explain better if you message me.
Ogletree are hired and paid by D so are D's lawyers and act in D's best interests. They said so during my call. Best to get an independent lawyer to advise you on this. Anyway to directly answer your question, you can't pull an employment verification letter after your last day. Nothing on the alumni portal.
I know you can’t download a letter yourself. It is provided to you from HR.
Purpose of my question is to confirm which date will be mentioned on the letter - last date of service or last date of salary continuation .
DO NOT speculate. I want to hear from someone who has specially requested this from HR post-lay-off
