Denied for a meta role, they said the panel liked me but I didn’t fit the role. I got redirected into another role with another recruiter and was asked to start over with that role. Anyone ever gotten a job like this? Feels like the runaround.

I’m a second year associate and last night I was online until 2:30 AM waiting for one specialists comment to a purchase agreement. I had added all comments during the day from everyone else, and the midlevel and senior were online as well, but it seemed very strange to ask me to stay up just to add three sentences to a purchase agreement. Is this normal?

Hi fishies! Over the past 2.5 weeks I’ve had two interviews with an agency. I thought both interviews went really well, and they said the same. After the first I heard back quickly to schedule the second. Now after the second it’s been a little over week with no follow up on next interview. Is it too early to send a follow-up? Our firm told everyone no bonuses this year due to the pandemic. However, people like myself with high utilization received a “bonus” in terms of a gift card. My director notified me of this, but the other day my boss was mentioning how no bonuses this year really sucks. I was told by the director to not mention it to anyone but I figured if anyone knew I got one it’d be my boss. I feel super uncomfortable now because do I essentially lie to my boss because I’m not supposed to talk about it.

Confronted client today about partner forcing us to travel while client site has travel restrictions. As a result is team is remote next week. Counting down days till I get rolled off/fired now lol
