Anyone see a future buyout/merger involving big 4 and/or MBB?

I’ve got a friend in Dubai who has experience in IB and VC at junior levels (in London and Dubai) and would like to break into consulting. He’s at a small cap VC at the moment and works not that challenging, and he wants to break into MBB or tier 2 for strategy. Anyone happy to look at his CV?

Do MBB firms usually give temporary accommodation to look for a place for people relocating from outside?

Just got another rejection... Is exiting to FAANG or MB really this hard? Trying to go tech.. or mbb, but not getting anywhere. I have 2 masters (mba, ms) from top schools, been in consulting for over 10 years, I am confident that I know my stuff well..but still I keep getting rejected. Interviewed with Google, Amazon, Cisco, McKinsey, and a few others and every-time there is something that is not a match... are the hiring managers looking for like 100% match? That will never happen!!!

How difficult is it to go from bizops at FAANG to MBB without prior consulting experience?

With 13.5 Lpa currently i’m at 12 and made switch on march.
Though my current company is an mnc but not that big and no work pressure is there, amazing work life balance. However, there is little to no learning and its very slow, the project is just starting and the client itself is not clear what they want. Do you think I should switch just because its a big 4. Here is my idea for a startup! I collect all the data from career transitions and use Data Analytics to predict the most likely career transitions. I could start with consulting. What do you guys think about this? I would be able to predict based on your firm(mbb, big4), your experience, which role you are likely to move (Faang pm, strategy manager, move to mbb). I have all the data to do this, but wanted your thoughts. Would the output of this be relevant to you?
