Did a final round a week ago and haven’t heard anything. Is it a good idea to let a company know I’ve moved into the final stage or finished the final round with a few companies when following up for an update?

In the late stages of an interview for an in-house role and just got referred to my ideal role at Google. The hiring manager is very interested. I’m afraid I’ll be in a difficult position where I accept an offer and leave within two months or not accept the offer and not get the job at Google.
