Just cannot get into my job lately. I don’t know if it’s the hormones, the upcoming FET transfer next week, or if I’m truly just over my company. I’ve been there 5 1/2 years. I started out as an executive assistant and last year I created a path for myself for communications. Almost a year into the role, a new manager was brought on, to my surprise. She is great, but I’m finding I don’t have enthusiasm for this role at all. I don’t think I have a choice to go back to being an executive assistant

How valid do you all think Glassdoor salary ranges are? Backstory; old company was acquired by a new company week 1 of my employment. (3 years ago). Was poking around at the salary ranges for my position and it seems I am vastly being underpaid. I don’t even know where I would begin to start this conversation with my boss or HR. I did take a significant pay cut when I took this job cause I was desperate- but now seeing the new company ranges they are much more on par to what I had been making.

I feel like there's a lot of client facing dev roles or dev roles that rotate a lot of projects. I think real tech companies have a bias towards devs from consulting companies due to this... But I've personally been working on a long term platform at Deloitte.

My husband did his semen analysis last week and his morphology came out to be low i.e. 2 (normal range 2.5 to 4). He had done it couple of times few years ago and results were great. My doctor said I should check with fertility clinic for assessment. The appointments are not available immediately. Wanted to get guidance on these results. Anyone has been in a similar boat? After my HSG and SHG I now have to do an MRI of my pelvis because the RE wants a better picture of one of the fibroids. They said if it is pushing into my uterine wall then it needs to be surgically removed. And if that’s not the problem then IVF is the next step. But I don’t want to do IVF nor can I afford to. 😔

I've started my ivf shots (leuprolide and estradiol) for a frozen transfer next month. I got invited to an NFL game in a few weeks that I desperately want to attend but the game would be during my shot time.

Has anyone experienced anything like this before? I can't imagine the stadium will let me bring needles in. Did you just do the shot early or late and hope for the best?

Has anyone had any side effects from Ovidrel? I did my shot on Wednesday night and Thursday and Friday I was SO tired and fatigued and it was impossible to focus. How is everyone staying motivated at work while going through fertility treatments? On days when I have appts or get my period, all I want to do is google and read forums about it. My utilization is tanking (not because I’m blowing off work, but because I need to find and take on new work) but can’t get the energy to). This is my first time IVF, all my results are normal but due to male factor had to go with IVF, and my insurance is not covering for my drug:Follistim-900 unit Pen/Gonal-F, my doctor prescribed Follistim. So I was doing price match for both in Freedom fertility and Village Pharmacy. I see Follistim is costing $2741 and Gonal-F is $847(due to some discount), which is best one?

How many 3 day embryos to transfer ? My re wants to transfer only 2.

I feel like the fertility process is pulling my hubs and I apart. We’re both not great at communication, but I feel like this stressful process just is not bringing us together at all. I’m starting treatment and am sort of freaking out at the prospect of swallowing pills and self-administering ovidrel shots. I have my HSG scheduled for tomorrow and I just realized that my antibiotics are massive capsules. I’ve been chewing my other prescriptions so far but they are tablets, which I think are generally ok to crush compared to capsules. I feel terrible for being such a chicken. Anyone have any advice?
