No way. But with 3 drivers living and working at our house, we have been able get by with only 2 cars instead of 3.
I would never want to live without my car
I’ve thought about it because it has seemed like a waste having my car and my spouses cars sitting for a year, only driven on the weekends. However our city (Orlando) doesn’t have reliable transit or much walkability so we decided against it. I think it would make sense to forgo a car in a larger metro with better accessibility.
Nope. Didn't drive as much, but taking public transit or an Uber during a pandemic felt needlessly risky.
We are normally a 2-car household but got a good offer on the older car last year. With both of us remote for now, we can get by with 1 car, only slightly inconvenient. Will almost definitely need another car later this year. Metro area but transit service is far too time-consuming and feels unsafe.
I considered moving cross-country at which point it would have been a no-brainer to sell, but until just recently I never would have considered being car-less long term. Too dangerous!
No! I would keep my car even if and especially if I lived in New York City itself.
