Did anyone else adopt the new Florida Wonders curriculum? We just adopted it this school year, and I teach 4th grade. My team and I have not found a good flow, schedule, or whatever you want to call it. We feel like it teaches too many skills in one lesson, and we are not able to truly teach anything “deep” enough for students to master. Does anyone have any insight? What do you do? Do you like the curriculum? Why or why not? Would you be willing to share what you do weekly/daily? Thanks!

Recommendation for a tax person to help with complicated taxes - husband and I lived in NJ for part of 2021, he worked remotely for an nyc and then Long Island co., I worked in NJ and for a MA firm. We also both took parental leave and taxes weren’t taken out of some of that pay. Also, need child credit for said child who the IRS doesn’t know about yet.

First time Dad and my 15 month old keeps running up the stairs at my in-laws place and they keep encouraging it. Stairs are almost 10 inches high with nothing underneath and I’m worried that he might slip and fall in between the stairs. We live in Florida and currently have a Freshman in High School and a 16 month old. We hear from our friends and family with college bound children "I wish we would have done Florida PrePaid." Any parents who are still on the safe side with Covid? We have a 1 year old and being safe and staying mostly home is really getting to me. I have been offered a position at a non-US B4 with a 2 year path to partner. I know one of the partners at the local firm and have the support of the regional service line lead, and am bringing a specialized skill set they are trying to open a new business around.
