Agency has holiday off, client doesn't, so we're working
I “liked” this comment, but I actually dislike it. That’s so lame, I wish you could just take your day.
No, I've never had that day off, no matter where I've worked, unfortunately.
At least there's only one holiday these days. In the not so distant past there was Lincoln's Birthday (Feb. 12) and Washington's Birthday (Feb. 22). In my father's day, these two days were big deals. Another excuse to wave the old Star-Spangled Banner. Now the combo President's Day is ignored by many and used as a special treat by others who point to including it as evidence that they "care" about their employees.
Nope. First time in my many many years of working that the office hasn’t been closed
I haven't had it off in years. I've seen more people getting Juneteenth, Election Day, a 2nd day for 4th of July (depending what day of the week it falls on), etc. We had a dinner party with people across various industries this weekend, and only 1 person in the group was off today
VML gets off today.
The only companies I see working are the bottom feeder vendors I liaison with
Nope. Working.
I’m working :|
Does the president get it off 🥺
Working 🥴
Nope
No Presidents Day in the middle of tax season, which is difficult when you have kids, because schools are usually closed for the day or that whole week. Back in the old days before MLK was a national holiday, the boss said you take vacation the day of your birthday, or MLK's birthday. Not sure of that was considered racist....
