Do early meetings actually make anyone more productive, or are they just corporate torture?

It is what it is. Do you really think those who organize early meeting actually like organizing early meeting? They do it because they have no other choice. Some people have meetings all day long and that is the only time available to them. If you have courage enough, you can always decline the meeting and ask for a new time to your convenience.

I legit haven’t learned anything (maybe 3 things and they are very minimal and not really anything) in the couple of years I’ve been here since everything is so controlled and thinking outside of the box is a no no.
