For people with Non-technical backgrounds who are now Product managers in the Tech industry, what kind of resources did you use to prep for your interviews? I've had people recommend brushing up on cracking the PM code but there's SO MUCH information out there and it's hard to figure out if I'm looking at the right thing or not. Please share resources that helped you get into PM roles (bonus points if you work at companies like Amazon and Google).

What do you find frustrating in job search? And what platforms do you usually use to find jobs? Doing a research on that :)

Any other first year associates feel like their firms don’t really appreciate how much COVID/WFH has stunted their development? I’ve been working at a biglaw firm for 5 months and don’t feel at all like a part of the team, and am extremely stressed out by the isolation of WFH most days. I’m not really sure that anyone at the firm realizes this is happening.

Really hoping to avoid judgment on this post. Has anyone had to sign up for government or state assistance after becoming unemployed? Was the process difficult? I have a young son who's at home with me all day right now and I'm looking for a job that I can work from home, but in the meantime we need to eat and I need to pay my rent. Thanks for any advice.

What do you do when a team member was added to your team at a senior associate level but hasn’t been up to the role in the last month? He is not my direct report nor did I interview him (very frustrating). Hiii genz here lol, when is it too early to talk about a raise? I’m planning on bringing up the idea to my boss when I hit a year working with them is that a reasonable time? Also im thinking of asking for 15% increase bc I know he’s gonna negotiate to like 8% (which is fine bc I tbh want 5%) :) anyways any help/insight is amazing !! It’s so nice that every agency laying off people, have those left standing (and other agencies) trying to hustle jobs for their unemployed friends, but there are also a ton of people who were unemployed prior to Covid...so no severance, job hunting lot longer, and not earning income for longer time...hurting even MORE due to quarantine.
