BCG gives the same separation benefits whether you quit or are counseled out.
They'll usually give you two weeks and your PTO is always paid out

Med device manufacturer. I didn't really go through recruiters, I found someone on LinkedIn who works at my current job and asked him about t and he was cool with recommending me to his manager. During my interviews I didn't really focus on the layoff part but more on the experience from it and the opportunity to work on stuff I'm more passionate about
Cost of manufacturing analyst. Pretty much an entry level job but I like it a hell of a lot more than what I was doing before, and I have a real impact on the company. And no pay cut. Also get to have a life outside of work haha. I see the salaries people post on here and I get kinda jealous but I'm very happy with what I do and how much I get paid for it so I'll take the trade off.

I was laid off from PwC last year and they called it "performance issues" bc I don't bunk they wanted to label that mass exodus as a layoff. I was there for less than a year so not sure what kind of severance package they would've given me but it wasn't as generous as what I heard Deloitte gave
A1, what'd you get?
Honestly can't remember since this was a year ago and not that great. Maybe a week? They got me at the beginning of the month so I got my health insurance thru the end of it and vacation time paid out but they're obligated to do that

@Assoc1 where are you working at now? And during your interviews following the layoffs did recruiters ask why you were laid off?
Neither. Most of us are at will, so no severance is required. That said, most firms probably give something under either circumstance. And B1 knows transition is a different deal. Cmon
