Sometimes I HATE ORD. Landed 15 min ago, been driving in circles ever since. No sign of gate
Question for you all, does anyone know why Monday morning flights are never late... yet.... Thursday night traffic makes me late regardless of city (nyc, ord, etc.) every week for the past few mos?
Have you noticed (either in school or in person) that social-distancing and cleaning standards are becoming more lax?
Is D flexible in allowing moves to cities away from their home office e.g. Aligned to NY, wants to move to San Diego
NFTs. I get it on principle. I’m there for it! But I read headlines and basically art NFT space is like buying sneakers. They’re a big deal if you think they’re a big deal. But yeah, I guess that is art. Idk… I scroll through open sea and it’s like a church rummage sale of crap. I desperately want to join in the excitement of this new and next thing, but beyond licensing… which requires demand first… I guess I don’t get it.
Is there a standard for Tier 1 vs 2 city. I am assuming Los Angeles is Tier 1 , what about OC/Irvine and San Diego. Some websites say San Diego is Tier 3, is there an official standard.
DFW... Terminal B... No Pre-Check 😩😩. Lady behind me says, "uhh, sir... you have to take your shoes off." Go away, strange woman... go away.
Aware of any good cleaning crew in San Mateo? Google throwing up $150-$200 monthly for a 2br1ba Can’t manage it myself, but also need something reasonable
Couldn't get a picture but just watched a King Charles Cavalier pee all over the carpeted floor at BOS.... nothing is being done to clean it up
ATL bin stations. Last week I still thought it was a good idea. This week they make everybody wait and push the bins at the same time. Crazy! Takes forever!
Delayed in EWR. Anyone around? Bueller...
Two people at LAX within 5 minutes each clipped my laptop and almost sent it to the floor both times. Fuck you LAX
IAH...worst airport ever?
Digital BCG SEA, is the sign on bonus available here for expert track? If so, will it be included and offered by default as part of the offered package or need to be requested and negotiated for? Any tips or advices how to open up that conversation and any estimated expected amount? Thanks!
EY 🐠: Base comp range for M2 or M3 in EY SAP practice (Houston office). Have an interview coming up next week and rather not waste anyone’s time if EY base comp is lower than Accenture.
PAS team at EY: any insight on project pipeline, team culture, and pay? Mainly interested in salary range for Staff and Senior in Workforce Advisory (Chicago) Thanks in advance!
Hi All, I'm 5+ experienced in IBM DataPower, secondary skills include working on WAS, MQ, Jboss, Tomcat - shell scripting to automate basic stuff. Holds certification in AWS Cloud Practitioner. What more important brand or work experience? Thinking of moving from B4 Audit to a national firm TAS practice. Realistically it what i’d like my career but unsure how my exit opps will differ.
Hi, would love some advice! I’ve been at my company ~1 yr and feeling like I need a change due to various reasons. Not sure if I can apply elsewhere w/ a little less than 1 yr under my belt, and I don’t have many connections in my area. Right now, I play a BSA role on my team, and I’m hoping to pursue product/UX design. I’m also doing a UX bootcamp in the spring & working on a udemy course outside of work for UX/UI. What’s a good stepping stone role (remote preferred)?
Looking to get in to Cyber Security sales. What are some of the good companies to work for? I’ve come to realize that I am not super technical, but I do like to sell, and have great communication skills. Having worked for big 4 in cyber for 5 years has taught me a lot, and would like to take risk getting into sales, and hopefully make a good return. Please help. Thank you!
Hi all, I have interview coming up for the “Application Modernization & Innovation” group. Can anyone shed light on what type of work/clients/WLB etc? thanks!
Is it normal to be “available” during the summer as an a2 going into a3, little nervous about utilization.
Applying elsewhere and really hoping to get out in the next 2-3 months... but today is one of those days I could just quit and not care at all 😠🙄
I just received an offer, and want to make sure I’m not leaving any money on the table. What is the typical wiggle room companies have for negotiation? What would be a good counter salary increment (in terms of %) that won’t scare them off, but allows me to capture as much of that wiggle room they have? (No defined compensation matrix or anything at this company) thanks!
Need counsel: Left advertising to go client side last year. Working at a huge company isn’t for me long-term but the money is great, I have more balance and actually raised my kids this year. I have the opportunity to be a c-suite leader at a very small agency on the rise. Super confused. Money will be less, long-term opportunity will be more. Also thinking about having another kid soonish.
Hi UK 🐠: grateful if someone can share the comp range (base + bonus + any other benefits like stock options) at Director level at Capgemini Invent? TIA 🙏
In Tech at D. Over my past 4 projects they seem to really burn us into the ground overwork us. Is that just my bad experience? Other Big 4 have a similar issue?
Anybody here in cyber security transformation? Or a similar technology transformation / strategy type role? I am just wondering more on what to expect in my next role, and if I will be picking up some useful knowledge or skills — or if I’ll be back to doing PMO for more money. Thanks in advance.
For those who have been in recruiting and have pivoted into a different career path, what did you transition into doing instead?
Are these positive signs during the final round interview with the big boss i had today? 1) asked for my timeline and when i can start the earliest, 2) listed all the political challenges the team is facing today and neighboring teams that are difficult to work with. Am i over-reading?
