How many Interview rounds for HCL ?
I interviewed for Data Analyst role at EY, it went well and the job sounds great, but I'm a bit hesitant to leave PwC because I really like the firm and I'm just 8 months in my job as an associate at a subgroup of ITS that has some focus on technology and analytics but it's mostly tax compliance.
I do want to transition to data analytics but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to go to another big 4, or maybe just look for a position in industry.
Any advice or similar experience?

Mine didn’t have any “technicals” if you’re targeting the generalist positions. Not sure how it changes if you’re targeting something specific. It was just case and behaviorals for me. Aside from maybe knowing what some general finance terms are like profit margin and such (which you already know since you’re in PWC anyway)

It depends on your background, the area you’re looking to join, and whoever’s asking the questions.

Of course. Going into a technical role, expect technical questions. Going into a restructuring role, expect questions about cash flow in some way. Going into a generalist role, expect some cases and maybe some XLS questions.
But anyone could ask something from left field…
Chief
Generally no, you won’t get technicals like you would in finance.
