Do those from MBB and BB banks have best shot at B School? I rarely hear about T2s and Big 4 getting into m7

About to start my first PM job! Any tips to be prepared and ramp up quickly? Books to read, courses to take, etc.. any tips are appreciated! Currently in ops consulting. No tech background.

Here is my idea for a startup! I collect all the data from career transitions and use Data Analytics to predict the most likely career transitions. I could start with consulting. What do you guys think about this? I would be able to predict based on your firm(mbb, big4), your experience, which role you are likely to move (Faang pm, strategy manager, move to mbb). I have all the data to do this, but wanted your thoughts. Would the output of this be relevant to you?

What are the pros and cons for working at your consulting firm? (salary, benefits, culture, growth opportunities, international projects , etc). Trying to figure out where I might want to go next.

I currently work in commercial banking and have been contemplating the switch to private credit / direct lending. Right now I’m struggling with where we are in the economic cycle as I feel private credit is less secure in downturns but would give me more career upside. I was wondering if the review course “CPE Self Study Course” for the CFF was enough preparation to study and pass the CFF exam. The CFE review course was enough and like if you get a question wrong it explains it well so that when it comes up in a different way in the real exam you can still get it. But when I saw the outline for the CFF material and there seems to be a lot of topics so I was wondering if the review course was sufficient considering this exam is also multiple choice. Thanks!
