Larsen & Toubro Infotech I have an offer from Atos and Hcl and Lti . Highest package is LTI with 19 lpa , YOE 10 years sap basis . I am trying to negotiate with atos for 22 lpa but it seems they are reluctant to agree and they said max they can offer is 19 lpa. I've had a hybrid role for the past 4 years where I get unlimited sick days (well 14 really until fmla kicked in), 3 weeks of vacation, 3 personal days. I am also given the week after Xmas off. if my toddlers are sick I can work at home with them. Interviewing w fortune 500 that offers 15 pto days that have to use for sick days too.Strictly in office job 9-5 and dress bus.prof. These bad benefits? Outdated culture?I am a seasoned professional. Seems tough.

Depends where you live. Country laws vary wildly. Usually unless you are a vp level or have specific knowledge of trade secret or financials they leave you alone. NDAs remain. non competes not so much as a non compete prevents you for working in your industry which the govt usually doesn’t like
At my last job, there was a non-compete clause, but it was super vague. When I left, I just made sure my new role was different enough that it was not an issue. I think a lot of it depends on how aggressive the company wants to be about enforcing it.
Thankfully I have never worked somewhere that had a non-compete clause but from everything I have heard they are actually really hard to enforce in the long run. My sister just hit her year of non-compete from her last job yesterday and now she can apply places that are in competition with that role.
