It’s extremely rare for anyone to send a message after 6:00, so I don’t bother muting it. My phone goes to ‘do not disturb’ at 10:30 though.

Slack messages can be scheduled just like emails.
Like other posters here, I rarely ever get any messages after hours but Slack automatically turns off notifications at 10pm anyway
I've never put work email on my personal phone and I never will. Ready to die on that hill 🏴☠️

Ya just work a normal day. 8-5 9-5 or 6, whatever. Set that. Lock up the slack at that time and do not sway. Also, don’t enable it early. This can be hard to do but once people know you are not going to answer, they will get questions and “emergencies” dealt with when you ARE avail. Most office “emergencies” are a result of people dropping the ball, client side or elsewhere. Often it’s not your teams fault, but the cycle has to be broken. Once someone says no and people won’t respond to anyone, it will stop.

similar - I don’t mute it but it’s rare to get requests after 6. most of the time it’s someone getting caught up and it can wait until morning. maybe once a month it’s something I need to respond to.
After business hours with the exception of top mgmt and our China director. They only message for urgent things after hours which can usually be dealt with easily enough
Yes! 7pm. But probably going to revise that to earlier.
I had horrible WLB once Pandemic/ WFH started. The agency was understaffing my team in order to make a profit on my 4 new accounts I led and helped win. Not my problem. Properly scope. was getting calls from account 24/7 as if I was working on call at the ER.
I mute outside of 10am - 6pm
6pm and we’re actively encouraged to not have emails or slack on our phones at all
Usually, there is no specific time, only when I need to focus on something important.
