Yes. Power of a free market at work in ways other than just price. Simply accepting that a portion of ones business is not controllable or worth attention has conseuences.
No. Have you looked at any of your verification reports lately? So many other partners are guilty of running our clients dollars in similarly disgusting environments. We monitor, we audit, we do our diligence, but unless a partner is being truly irresponsible we don't hang them out to dry. YouTube as a whole makes up...what...50% of all videos that exist online...99.9% of them UGC? Thats a lot of room for an error to occur. Not saying Google shouldn't rectify the issue like any other partner, but this witch hunt is misdirected at a platform when our efforts should be focused at the cultural condition that still supports the shit video that caused this commotion in the first place.
