Does any one use a TAMP in a IMA?

Conceptual understanding of money appears to be an illusion. There are mediums of exchange and there are reserve assets. We need each, we need them to exist separately, and we need to maintain accessible conversion between the two. Going down the path of trying to treat fiat currency as both medium of exchange and reserve asset is the failure of the past century. Do people agree/disagree? Why?
