Me! It can be great if the exec has something interesting to say and/or is lower ego. Many don’t fit this description. But I like that when focused on executive communications you can build a versatile skill set spanning events, earned, writing, internal comms, etc.
Second what the VP above said. It's such a great way to build an integrated comms skills set and in my experience, it challenges you in the best way. You constantly have to be thinking two steps ahead and approach things from all aspects of PR (earned, social, digital, crisis, internal comms, etc.).
