Got a verbal confirmation for an offer from recruiter. Now she is negotiating my pay with the compensation team instead of me. I thought I had to do the negotiations with that team? This is for a L3 role at google canada. To the fellow googlers, is this normal practice or am I being lowballed here?

I work as a Business Development Manager at a sports club.. I’ve been given a couple of months “trial” in the 6 figure and above sales in which I don’t see going back to my other role on lower sales. This was a somewhat good move for me until I consider missing out on commission each month that was more than my salary. (£25k salary, over £2k per month commission)
How do I go about raising this concern? I believe I should be paid more now and at least change my job title?

Hey, I received a verbal offer from EY for a role as manager, which was quite a low ball offer. I had received another offer from a different firm and I informed EY HR about it. I was told yesterday that they have an updated offer for me, scheduled the call twice with me but didn't actually call and told me she got occupied in other meetings. Received the offer from EY for M role, on call and email on Wednesday and also received a mail from the partner about it. Told them I will be accepting the offer. Had another offer & already received their contract , now I don't want to say no to the other firm before I sign the contract with EY. Which I am being told will only be ready next week. What is your experience after getting a confirmation on mail, how long could it take ?
