Hi Folks,
Good Evening
Hope you all are doing well.
I am just done with the HR and Salary discussion for the Data Engineering role with Telstra .
Which location is good to join Bengaluru, Hyderabad or Pune when it comes to Data Engineering roles and opportunities in Telstra ?
Any one currently working or worked in Telstra looking forward to your valuable inputs and suggestions.
Wanted to highlight Prudential Financial’s hiring practices. They rescinded my offer once I attempted to negotiate the salary. The official reason given was that I didn’t “sound excited enough”.
They then admittedly gave the offer to someone who was less qualified. There were other red flags throughout the job offer process that the HR team should overall be ashamed of.

It’s a good company to work for. 3 days in office and you can leave the office at 3pm and work from home for the rest of the day. It is very flexible.
Thank you!
How did you get in at Allianz? I've been trying to land an interview for months
Honestly, I just applied on a whim. I didn’t have to much information about the company. The recruiter reached out 1-2 days after I applied.
Can you give me any information on the interview process with them? I just put an application in and they wanted me to ask Alexa questions?
Both CNA and Allianz are good insurance companies. I would accept the job which you believe is the best fit for you. The difference in pay should not matter if you believe one position suits you better than the other position. Good luck, two very good reputable companies.
Is working in the office 12X a month vs 8X a month less cost effective? Will the travel time, gas, maintenance, lunches, childcare etc eat up that additional $7K? If not, comparable jobs with comparable benefits then 4 days should not be a big deal for the extra money
