Hello, does anyone work as an auto underwriter for insurance? I recently got accepted for an internal job position and was offered $50k. I’m currently a claim processor making $20/hour so the offer is more than what i’m making but is low in comparison to the average salary for an auto underwriter in AZ (which is around $58k). I believe because the company knows how much i’m making they lowballed me. Any tips on how to navigate the salary negotiation and can u share ur salary ?

First anniversary- got 4 ratings. Jul20
Appraisal1 - got A band. Apr21
Sec Anniversary - got a default hike.Apr21
DCA cleared - got a CTC hike. Jul21
Appraisal 2 - got A band. May22


My question is since I got two consecutive A bands, is there a possibility of promotion to ITA in the next couple of quarters, heard we are eligible for ITA after >3.5yoe, if started from a fresher...is it true?

Was back in the office for the first time since Covid. It’s been really nice seeing everyone again and rekindling old relationships but something about being back just feels off to me.
Covid changed a lot and it’ll be tough to go back to the old ways but it all just feels so different. Idk if I’m in culture shock or this just isn’t for me anymore. Has anyone else felt this?

We are exploring having a third party come in and assess our I&D efforts across our company. We have many locations across North America. Is anyone aware of an entity who does this? We have found questionnaires through target organizations and have done anonymous employee surveys but are hoping to find someone who can do an assessment for gender, minorities, disabilities, 2SLGBTQ+, etc. and provide feedback on the actual employee experience and where we may have blind spots.
