Ya pwc3 is right you have to be employed on date of payout not just first day of period anymore.
9/30 was when it was paid last year. Since your bonus is based on the year that's been compete I would have assumed you were entitled to a bonus.?
9/30. And they won't pay you the bonus unless you're here 9/15.
Check that new this year you need to be an employee on 9/30
And it's paid out on 9/30
Do you think if I say my last day is 9/30 it will work?
The practice is to give two weeks notice thru 9/15 so that you are employed on 9/30, your last day. If you aren't given the 2 weeks for whatever reason then you're screwed lol
Damn that sucks. I know a few people that have left in the past month. They won't get their bonus?
Many employers cover up for the loss of bonus in previous company and pay as joining bonus. Check out if that's an option.
