I just finished what I thought was the final round of interviews for a job that I really want. Everything has been going extremely well. The recruiter just called to tell me that they want me to do one more round, though. This will make 8 interviews total, including a full case study presentation to 4 people. Should I be worried? Is this a red flag?

Tho, I'm not very good at competitive programming. How to take a switch in big product based company. What are skill sets i need to learn. I'm really confused! Some says learn full stack. I have to increase my pay from 5.5 to atleast 30 in next 3 yr

Agency recruitment managers! How do y’all set goals for your department? Do you focus on outreach goals, applicant goals, purely hiring goals no matter the outreach numbers, conversion rates, etc? Asking because I manage two recruiters working with different clients and both work with different styles, so outreach messages for one might not make sense for the other. My superiors are asking me to contact CEOs of debtors to chase payments. We’re in B2B and payments are usually 30 days or more. As soon as we get someone over that and they don’t provide a payment date, I’m being asked to contact their CEOs somehow and demand payment. I think it’s dumb, will hurt the relationship and I also don’t want to ruin my reputation. Thoughts?

Which offer should I accept? Currently staff 2 at big 4 in Tax with CPA license. I want to leave tax ASAP. Both are public companies +1B in revenue and same salary. Offer 1 - staff revenue accountant so reading contracts, speaking with the sales team and legal team, a lot of work at the end of the months to close books and reconcile transactions to make sure we are ASC 606 compliant. This track usually leads to director of revenue. Offer 2 - internal audit staff so SOX and compliance projects.

How many intervals do you have to bill time at? We’re at 15 minutes intervals for professionals and six minutes for admin.

Promotion to senior after 1 yr is pure BS. Why do firms do this? One year is not enough to expose one to enough variety and develop expertise to review and teach others. Encouraging mediocrity?!

Went from 65k external audit after two full yrs to 85k associate at a midsize bank doing internal controls. Next yr ill be AVP making 115k while audit seniors are making 75k working 90 hrs a week 😂
