Hi Guys,
I have joined Ofss 1 week back and on second day itself I was allocated to project and onboarding WIP I received mail stating to report back to office 3 days per week under hybrid work model policy. Is this compulsory my base location is 2600 km from my current location as I am joining the citi project its seems difficult for me to grasp things though I have only 1 yr of prior exp by I think my team is expecting a lot so moving to new city and learning at same time is not possible .

No way LaCroix is good for you...
Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

I use a foldable tablet/laptop stand (20€, works fine for lighter 14‘ notebooks, larger might be difficult) and a small external Bluetooth keyboard (60-80€, Lenovo thinkPad style) +mouse. Can be set up/removed within seconds and improves ergonomics by sooooo much. My neck and back are mostly happy.
Probably smart
I end up foam rolling my back all the time and getting deep tissue massages every 2 weeks...
@PwC 1 cuz nobody wants to travel with that... the stand is sooooooo light
Yep! Check out the Nexstand (on Amazon)
Oops, not ergo keyboard. I mean like Logitech K400. Mouse is ergo - M570.
Why not just buy two monitors an close the laptop when plugged in
Second Nexstand, and iClever keyboard.
Thank you all. I have injured my cervical spine because of bad posture and have no choice but to correct my posture with a stand and proper keyboard if I want to save my neck from surgery and my hand from resultant neuropathy. I had no idea bad posture would cost me this dearly. I was afraid the other consultants traveling will laugh at me for using these things, but if many people on the go are using them then that is comforting.
I carry a wireless keyboard when I connect to extra monitors at a client desk. Much nicer than trying to type on laptop and use the screens.
What ergo keyboard fits into a rolling laptop bag for travel?
I use a gaming mechanical keyboard for the comfort and clickity clack responsiveness. Love those old school keyboard feel and not the modern membrane crap on laptops

This one? I wanted something full size when I unfold it.
